My fiancee didn't send chat conversations, he just included one email (really one!) but regarding the pictures, we wrote at the back of it our names, the dates and where it was taken. He included also phone bills, passport stamp, receipts and other proofs of a genuine relationship. and we got approve! It was 60 working days! God bless to you guys...:)

I just sent in my packet, and I have been reading interview stories. Our case is a little weird, IF/WHEN we do make it to the interview, I'm worried that we will not have sufficient evidence. We got married 7months ago, moved in together into a relative's house while we were looking for a place of our own.

He got into some trouble after about 3-4months and is currently undergoing court-ordered rehabilitation for the rest of the year, so it will be a few months before he comes home to me! We got married in the courthouse but neither of us thought to carry a camera since we are yet to have the big ceremony when we have enough money. We do send each other pics of each other to keep each other going, but I am not allowed to see him until his probation has been lifted. I still sneak in and see him through the window, and we sneak phone calls from time to time, but nothing blatant like trips and vacations together.

All bills are in relative's name, including mortgage and the car insurance. He obviously has no cellphone,my provider wouldn't add him to my bill, and my credit card is a secured one so the company wouldn't add him either. We did file taxes together and have a joint savings account, which we opened to try and put some money away for us, but now I just send him an allowance out of it and buy him personal effects. I don't have life insurance or health insurance, can barely afford toothpaste!(jk)

OK so any ideas on what we can take with us to the interview?

You can print out a few current e-mails, but I think what you have will be enough. In my interview the pre-screener asked if I have pictures, money transfer receipts and chatlogs. Ofcourse I said Yes and he told me to take it out and prepare it but He didn't even bother to look at it anymore. For the pictures what I did is I pasted it on a bond paper and wrote caption under each picture, like the date and who's on the picture and the location. But again since your on a IR-1/CR-1 visa they don't usually ask for it. Don't worry too much on the proof of relationship in my opinion what you have is good enough. Good Luck!

well, just remember that those 6 types of evidence asked for in the I-130 -

You two PROBABLY want to keep building the evidence pile, over time -

you've 8 months or so, till interview day, to generate more evidence.

If you come in as a CR-1, you'll have 2 years once yer stateside to build even more evidence for the Removal of Conditions petition.

Evidence is important - it says so - right there on the label!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
