3 years after getting her temp green card to apply for US citizenship, Remember file for i765 work permit and AP travel at same time, when you file your I485. Good Luck She will have 6 months to come to USA, you have 90 days to get married and file for I485, Lots of paperwork and follow VJ site instructions, for both K1 and AOS.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

No deadline on filing for AOS, but the clock can't start until you do, and get approved.

Wrong. Everything is based on date of first becoming an LPR, not marriage date.

LPR?

You are at the fun part. The rest gets easier, or you get better, one of the two. Good luck!

So "some Old guy"....you seem to young to be sarcastic...;-))..wink,wink...are you pulling my leg on the fun part????, thanks for your good luck wishes...those words always help. I am sure when we are finally both through all this waiting and more waiting, we will forget all that we had to endure.

It depends on the country. I imagine Canada is straight forward, but some of the high fraud countries can put up significant hurdles, and the cultural/language differences make it worse. You will be an expert on the process by the time it is over.
