I read your timeline and status , its help me alot coz my bf and i are thinking wht were gonna apply CR-1 or k1 cox were planning to get married but the problem we have only 21 days in the philippines coz we need to go back to our work , im working outside country also.

I hope that u can help me and update me. coz when i read in this vj site the cr will take 5 yrs before i enter there in US . is that true? but since i read your timeline i got idea that it will not take 5 yrs from the day of application.

5 years? That's absolutely not true. Lol! CR-1 normally takes about 5-8 months from start to finish.

21 days is long enough for you and your fiance to get married.

Im sorry i kinda posted this thing several time im bored and i cant wait for my visa to arrive it just freaks me out when people on here that i have been reading says their visa arrive more than the 10 days that they said the visa supposed to arrive ... i mean they are talking about weeks and the bad thing is my fiance was too excited to book flight and i didnt know he booked my flight on august 5 ,,, damn i hope this visa thing would arrive soon i dont want to disappoint my love ....

I want to know when will my visa and passport arrive i was approved a visa last friday so when will we have this visa thing ??

Seven to Ten days or so.

you should have at least 14 WORKING DAYS after the interview date for the visa to arrive... then after that she will have the CFO seminar...

Average USCIS processing is only 5 months. Sometimes you can get it before your 5th-mont mark. Sometime a little longer. NVC process is something you can control. 5 years? That's ridiculous.. Our process only took 7 months from filing to interview day.

And oh, for everyone out here. I got my visa today. I picked it up at 2go Caloocan. Good thing I decided to just pick it up coz it will probably take 2-3 more days before it will our province (Pampanga) if I didn't! :angry:

Have you tried tracking your visa? I got mine in Caloocan (Manila) 8 days after the interview. :blink:

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

Sept. 26, 2011 - I-485 & EAD sent to Chicago Lock box
