Dites, je viens d'avoir ma date d'interview, et du coup j'étais en train de consulter les instructions pour la visite médicale sur le site du Département d'Etat. Quand ils disent que le médecin doit faire un examen des organes génitaux externes, c'est une blague, hein ?

CR1 Visa

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

06/25/24: passport received

Je viens aux nouvelles.

Il y a plus de 3 mois, j'avais envoyé mon AOS. J'ai passé mes biometrics 2 semaines plus tard à Idaho Falls (très sympas d'ailleurs) attendant impatiemment mon permis de travail...(j'ai déjà trouvé un employeur...).

Aujourd'hui, j'ai reçu un RFE me disant qu'ils n'avaient pas reçu de birth certificate traduit en anglais alors que j'en avais fourni un plurilingue... Bleeeeeeeeh ! Ils n'ont pas dû prendre la peine de retourner ledit certificate pour y trouver la traduction.

Je vais renvoyer le certificat plurilingue + un original en français avec la traduction pour les 2, faites par moi-même...d'après vos différents témoignages, ça passe...

Bref que de temps perdu, que du bonheur...

2 jours de neige en Idaho seulement, méga les boules : pas assez de neige pour skier...

Mais le temps passe vite malgré tout !

Ca depends des medecins. Moi j'y ait eu droit :( Bon il y avait une infirmiere dans la piece mais je me suis quand meme sentie mal a l'aise. Ca me donne toujours envie de donner des reponses bien placees quand on te dit "Ah t'as epouse un americain, t'as la citoyennete donc."

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

04.22.10: NOA date

04.23.10: Check cashed

05.17.10: Received biometrics appointment letter

06.07.10: Biometrics Appointment

06.26.10: Touched

07.07.10: Card Production Ordered!

07.17.10: Card in the mail :) Done until citizenship
