I was wondering if anyone was having any luck on trying the DHL trick? I tried using the following references: "CORRESPONDENCE" , the EXP DAY MONTH YEAR(A or B) as well as the " EXPEDITE IV SECTION" listed in the .txt file posted on this site, but still coming up with " no shipment found" ... I had called NVC and was informed that it was mailed around July 6th.

Can someone please assist me with that tracking feature? Maybe I am typing something wrong or maybe since I am still in China, it's not working right?

Thanks!

If you take a look at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/194465-how-to-track-your-case-from-nvc-to-embassy/, they suggest using the day before the case leaves as the reference number. So, using ref EXP 05 JUL 2011A, I found one package going to China. The tracking number is 8869515406.

Laogong,

Just a word of caution. Even if you are able to find a DHL package shipped around the date your package left NVC you can never really be sure it's yours. So don't put too much faith in it. I tracked what I thought was mine for over a month only to find out after it was delivered that it wasn't. The best thing to do is start calling DOS on a regular basis to look for updates.

Be sure to check this out if you haven't already. http://www.visajourn...he-nvc-and-dos/

Best of luck to you!
