Who Should File I-134?

Hello!

My fiancé and I filed our 1-129 F in the end of May when he was here in the U.S. for a visit (now waiting on our NOA2, yay!). I sent him a copy of the entire packet, but also included bank statements, tax returns, and other asset information as evidence of support.

In case that wasn’t enough, I also completed an I-134 and included all the documents required. My question is, should I have pre-filed this myself, or is this something that my fiancé can file/provide during his interview on my behalf?

Thanks in advance!

The USC fills out the I-134 and provides supporting documents before the interview. This is to be filled out and supplied as close to the interview as possible.

Edit - should be sent to the beneficiary and they bring it to the interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

As Inky says, your fiancé will bring it to the interview. If your income is sufficiently high, ie your tax returns all show a higherish income, then you probably don't need to send additional evidence, but otherwise you may want to send a recent pay check and recent bank statement to him nearer the interview date :-)
