There are people who filed after me and they already got approved (NOA2). I don't understand the first come first serve on they website. Please explain to me how that works? I'm tired of this waiting game and see other VJ members got approved left and right of me. I called Customer Services (CS) two times now and was told to wait for the 5 months to expired. Should I call again and request to talk to Tier 2 CS or just wait for the 5 months to expired? Can Tier 2 CS provides any new information about my case?

One time I went to a big box store. I loaded up my cart, checked and double checked to make sure I had gotten everything on my list, and then I went to the register. I looked at the LONG line of registeres and picked one that I thought was the shortest - because like everyone else there I wanted to get out quickly. I became frustrated becuase I saw other lines moving SO much faster than mine, even people who lined up after me were moving right along and checking out way before me. I thought 'how unfair is that...I was here first"

That is the same with USCIS. Sometimes adjudicators work faster than others, sometimes they get bogged down on one case for a while and can't or won't process any others until that one is done, so the people waiting behind them get stuck in the queue.

It is no one's fault, it is just the same as waiting in line at the grocery store, sometimes you get a super quick check out, sometimes you get stuck behind the old granny counting coupons and paying in pennies

good luck

Hope this helps : There is no First Come First Serve Order. (See my timeline for proof.)

The Customer Service Representitive also gave you inaccurate information to call at 5 months. The fact is: It is 5 Months/31 Days AFTER your NOA1 Hard COPY. (6 Months) Then, you may ASK for a Service Request to pull your File and they will generally do this without a Tier 2 Rep.

Will it help to call a Tier 2 ? NO Everytime you call, it is noted in your electronic file and enquiries. There is nothing to gain by this.

Your timeline indicates you are very early to be even making calls to USCIS.

Though it seems forever, hang in there and be patient.

Tim

Thats Funny, I always get behind the Old Granny with just a Cup of Coffee and the next thing I know she pulls out Lotto Scratch-off tickets to turn in, Then buys more and starts scratching them off while I'm standing there WAITING.

Hello friend and fellow journeyman,

I can't say I understand your pain as my father still lives although he had a very bad stroke and is no longer the same. My ex-wife also lives and is happily married to the person she left me for. These last few years have been very painful and I've also had to endure through a lot. I may not know your pain but I do know mine and I want you to know that I wish for the very best for you and for you to be rejoined with your loved one. Hopefully life will treat you better than in the past. I am also anxious and impatient. You've [probably seen my previous post about how accurate are VJ timeline approximation. I would probably bet that your adjudicator and mine are one and the same because this morning I also woke up to an approval of my NO2. I just checked your timeline and noticed that you have also received your approval, CONGRATULATIONS!!! May the rest of the way be smooth sailing for the both of us and all of us!!!

What other joy is there but being with the one you love
