Proof of email communication

For the fiance interview, several guides suggest bringing phone bills, etc, to establish a pattern of regular contact. We can certainly print out all our email traffic, but this seems excessive and IMO violates our privacy to some extent. A phone bill proves there was a phone call, but it does not attest to the nature of the conversation, whereas printing out emails reveals everything.

Since we usually communicate by skype or email, there are no phone bills. Has anyone tried printing out their inbox list rather than all the contents, and if so, was this deemed acceptable evidence of regular contact?

Do you have chat logs at all? Another thing is printing regular emails over a period of time and you are allowed to black out anything personal. Any cards or letters posted?

I haven't seen my fiance since we became engaged so boarding passes, photos etc are all prior to. I have miles of chat logs and emails since. I plan to provide boarding passes etc from earlier on anyway.

Use your phone logs... they are still proof of communication.

I also printed out the summary sheets showing dates and length of time using Skype as well as emails and then printed out just select emails that showed the progression of our typical relationship.....I also included some lovey dovey emails which showed how much we cared for each other and later, as the relationship moved forward, our love for each other. It is normal for a couple that intends to become married to profess their love for each other. Privacy has no concern considering USCIS; you have to convince a total stranger that you have a serious relationship.

We also purposefully generated different types of evidence just to have different types to present.
