So, I got NOA2 today like million other people on this board from VSC :)

Now, I am clueless for next step.

As I understand, that now application will go to NVC then to Bombay Consulate, and will be assigned case number. I will eventually receive Packet 3.

What is included in packet 3? I would like to fill out forms for my fiancee so there is no chance of screw up, haha.

I was looking at DS230 Part I. It seems like my name is not included anywhere on that form. It asks for Spouse information, which does not really apply to us K1 visa people. Basically that form asks for essentially same information as G325a for foreign spouse. Am I reading this right? Spouse field should be left blank, cuz we are not yet married right?

Where does medical appointment come in? Do they give us date or we just go to their preferred doctor and get it done?

When do you submit DS156?

If someone would walk me through this step by step or point to pre-existing guide, it would be great?

You need to look at the K1 Guide (see Guides top of this page) for general process

and

Your Embassy requirements for Packet 3 and Interview (see Embassy info) top of this page. Embassy requirements vary according to country so you need to look specifically at your embassy.

If you have any questions following that just ask again on this site.

Also, if you fill in your timeline etc it helps VJ members to be more specific with their replies.

Congratulations on your NOA2 and best of luck with the remainder of your journey.
