AOS fee already marked paid and I just sent it yesterday. Now if they can just process the frigin choice of agent email!

Well that was fast. Hopefully I can get the AOS bill tomorrow.

Do not pay anything over the phone. All payments to NVC have to go through the payment portal, and you have to get teh NVC# and the Invoice number from the phone rep. Nobody gets called by NVC to pay $$. And you have to pay the bills separately. Sorry, but your story sounds really strange.

NVC phone number : 1-603-334-0700 call them up until midnight East Coast Time, Monday - Friday.

I didnt pay over the phone, it was a call from my lawyer to notify me.

Does anybody know how long it takes to get the Case# and IIN after NVC receives the case in their office?

As of this Friday morning there is still no case number assigned...our NOA2 was 30 June, and "received" in-house on 25 July...seems that NVC has some kind of chaotic order of processing that only they seem to understand, and I'm beginning to wonder if they even understand....aye aye aye...

oh well, maybe later today? not holding my breath because I will go blue in the face.

What's funny is that all my friends from Italy, Latin America and India always point out how efficient we are in States, and how everything "flows and works"....yes, in general, but when it comes to immigration issues and even passing through a POE you are in another State, and a different timeline.

They are scanning your file into the system now. You should see your AOS invoice shortly. Maybe today, but for sure early next week.

Send the e-mail again.

If you have a hardcopy of the DS-3032 send that in as well. It will not hurt your case as long as the information in the e-mail and hardcopy is the same.
