CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

I have yet to get my number from NVC, but whats the issues with the rest of the steps.

They are generating NVC Case Numbers with skeleton details in to their system (their way of giving us a satisfaction that our papers are not lost and also to acknowledge that they received the papers from CSC). They haven't even enter the beneficiary name and now they are not allowing logon till the case details are entered fully (I could logon on 7/22 and not after that).

They will take 1 - 2 weeks to enter the full details and they are still on 6/18 or so in doing that (they said mine would be entered by week-end). After that only can we start paying AOS fee and IV fee (after DS-3032 is updated). Since ther are a lot of March and April filers that got approvals in June, these will be entered before the July approvals are entered. Bottom line, there will be delay and the previous timeliens are no more a guideline for estimating anything. After that the guys who are ready with all documents will be able to get interviews before others - it looks like most of us are ready due to the delay between NOA - NVC Case number.

I have not read the full details of most of your cases.

So the 6/24 an before people...are your files at NVC and still waiting for a case number or have you received one already?

Have any of you sent off DS-3032 e-mails yet?

Wait.. do you actually have an NVC number?

YES. Just today.

NVC emailed my hubby that our case is already in their system. He called NVC right away to get our case number.

But, if you have your documents in order, I am sure you can still get out of NVC in 30-45 days once your case number is generated.

The NVC recently received this petition. The appropriate agent

Congrats. I noticed that you were very active on this forum and particlarly in this thread. Try logging on to the system using your case number and IIN and check again tomorrow (I could logon the first day but not after that - the beneficiary name was not entered into the system then). all the best with your rest of the process.

Dave, I have all the documents ready 20 days back (all I am doing is include the latest pay stub and latest bank statement due to this delay), but I have a unique issue - need a new NVC Case number due to US consulate change. Hopefully I will get that quickly and then I will be ready to keep the ball rolling pretty quickly. all the best with your rest of the process.

Just got off the phone. the rep told me that my case is in the system already but no case number assign yet. She said I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks to get case number. do I have to wait that long?

I doubt it. Keep calling every day.

The always add a ton of time to their actual processing times to give them a buffer zone...

I am so sorry an saddend to see you have waited for so long for your NVC case numbers etc, its crazy how it used to be between 6-20days max after NOA2 before this crazy hold up happened, we had our case expedited, does that mean itl get to NVC quicker or do we have to join the long 4week plus wait just for it to be received?

As I understand it, you have to ask again for an expedite at NVC and that it is enough to prove you had an expedite before. You might however have to wait for that case number.
