Hi everyone, I would like to know if there has been a case in which the husband/wife don't go with the beneficiary to the interview and for that reason the embassy denied the visa. I'm would be in the middle of a project at work and i don't think I'll be able to accompany my wife.

While its witnessed that being with the beneficiary during the interview make things easier and favourable in many cases, but not being there is not gonna hurt as long as you have a good case and your husband/wife is prepared.

US citizen attendence was never reported as a background of visa denial more than its a support for your case

If you have a good case then nothing to worry about

Good Luck

It's Embassy specific. You need to do research on your particular Embassy. For Moscow, I wouldn't have been allowed to attend so I did not. For Kiev, the USC can and sometimes does.
