I recieved this form in the mail today and it has a WAC receipt number on it. But when i enter it online to check status it tells me that it is not there.

??? any suggestions?

February - March 2002 we met in Mexico

August 2002 - we are an 'official' couple

Many visits back to Mexico over 4years!

June 2006 - Officially Engaged!

August 28, 2006 I-129F mailed to Nebraska

August 30, 2006 received in Nebraska

September 7, 2006 NOA1 Notice Date

September 11, 2006 NOA1 received in snail mail

September 12, 2006 Touched (most likely to add Receipt Number to system)

September 13, 2006 Touched

September 14, 2006 Touched AGAIN!!! (what's up with this?)

Novemberr 13, 2006 NOA2 (77 DAYS!) YEEEE HAAAAA!!!!

December 6, 2006 Received Notice that everything was sent to Juarez

January 26, 2007 Juarez sends out packet

February 3, 2007 received packet from Juarez

February 6, 2007 going to medical & interview in Juarez!

February 6, 2007 RECEIVED VISA!!!

February 9, 2007 FLIGHT TO US!!!

what is it notice for? from your timeline would seem to be NOA1 or possibly your case is being transferred to CSC.

what is it notice for? from your timeline would seem to be NOA1 or possibly your case is being transferred to CSC.

It says on the top I-797C, Notice of Action. And the Notice Type is "Receipt Notice"

Did it come from California

Came from California... and it has a WAC-XX-XXX-XXXXX number on it. I'm so excited it came, but i'm frustrated that I can't make the number work!

Are you using Internet Explorer? Maybe it's something to do with the browser. I don't know what else to do... it's so wierd that it won't work.

Sometimes it takes a day or so, or in some cases a week or more for your case number to show up online. Sounds like you've received your NOA1. Be patient, try again in a few days. When my husband and I submitted our AOS stuff it took over three weeks for the case numbers to show up online. :)

Sometimes it takes a day or so, or in some cases a week or more for your case number to show up online. Sounds like you've received your NOA1. Be patient, try again in a few days. When my husband and I submitted our AOS stuff it took over three weeks for the case numbers to show up online. :)

Thanks Karen, sounds like that is what is happening. I also tried calling to check the status and it told me it was not in the system either.

I'll wait a day or so and try again.

So you think this is the NOA1... YAY! Such a small step... but so exciting to have this finally in the process!

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.
