Upgrading Application

Guys, I am an LPR and my I130 got approved for my wife. Now I am awaiting for my naturalization to complete by next month (hopefully). Can anybody tell me in what stage does my current application for my wife is stalled with NVC before I can upgrade? Is it before sending the choice of agent or will it not even issue me a NVC case # before I upgrade or in any other stage??

what stages can you enumerate ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just upgrade your case when you become a citizen. The current stage is of no consequence when doing so.

Prior to Stage 1, http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_Do_I_Bring_My_Spouse_(Husband_or_Wife)_to_Live_in_the_United_States%3F#Step_1_-_NVC_Assigns_Case_Number

the casefile sits, waiting for the Visa # to become available, per the Priority Date. Nothing happens after I-130 approval, the case just sits.
