What is the "DS-260 Number"? Is that the 10 number/letter "Confirmation No." on the DS-260 confirmation sheet?

Thanks!

I was just in Mexico trying to arrange all this from a cyber-cafe...what a mess. I do remember at one point in the process we had to actually call the NVC for a BENEFICIARY ID# this is an 8 digit number that I could not get anywhere else!!! (NVC was really nice...you need to get two things from them, the INVOICE ID# & also the BENEFICIARY ID#) NVC phone number is 603-334-0700

We gave up trying to arrange it all from Mexico & flew home 2 days ago since the Petitioner needs to go to work Monday. Yesterday, from the comfort of a home computer we finally discovered how to pay online for Juarez interview but we only discovered it after paying over the phone...which is awful!!! you wait ages & they say the MRV conf# really fast & you better write it down fast!!! they do not repeat it...they say would you like us to repeat the number...but they just hang up! We did this 3 times, Heaven only knows what the phone bill will be. Then we got the numbers & made the appointments online, they had appointments open about 2 weeks out, you need to get appointment for ASC (fingerprinting) & also for the actual consulate interview. I did think the girl was very nice & helpful on the phone tho' it took approximately 20 minutes to get a real person. She was also sweet to us about the frustration we were feeling in the confusing way the website & stuff is laid out!
