can i translate ???

hello guys

can i translate any other papers that is in french langauge ? such as my diplomat that is in french and my training jobs attstation and others into english ? cuz i filled this up on the biography form before when we mailed out the i129f to the uscis or jst leave them in french language and take them with me as they are any advice guys ?

I would highly recommend that you have someone fluent in the English language do the translations for you. Thank you. :thumbs:

there are translators here that do this by payment but is this required ?

No. The translations can be done by anyone comptent in both languages. This becomes the " certification " when a simple statement is made by the person that indicates they are fluent in both languages. That statement is dated & signed by the person & included with the translated docs.

The criteria for this can be found on the USCIS web site by typing translations in the search block or by doing the same here on VJ.
