Hi there, I search alot of post on here any I didnt find any Indian couples, who had file K1 petition, everyone has different timeline for their K1, I file my case for my INDIAN fiance on jul10 to NSC and now they moved my case to CSC and please can some tell me the roughly, estimate time will it take till get approved?, and how much time it take after you case get proved to interview for INDIA/DELHI embassy?

My fiance is indian (Mumbai) and i recieved my NOA1 on Aug 15. Not sure of the timetable,alot of people still waiting from March and April. Just gotta pray it goes fast. Good Luck to you!

Met online April 2004

Went to Mumbai to meet Poonam Sept. 2004

Sept. 2004 thru April 2006 ongoing relationship

Went back to Mumbai April 2006

Engagement April 2006

Nov.-Dec. 2006 went to Mumbai

K-1 Journey*

08-02-06 mailed I-129F

08-15-06 NOA1

08-18-06 touched

10-05-06 NOA2 (51 Days)

10-06-06 touched

10-07-06 touched

10-16-06 Received hardcopy of NOA2 in the mail

10-19-06 NVC received my petition (Please hurry, so she can be here for Christmas)

10-26-06 Received NVC letter stating it was sent to Mumbai (Letter dated 10-23-06)

12-09-06 Never received Packet 3, So we downloaded and sent to embassy

02-02-07 INTERVIEW (Missed 1st interview, waiting on new interview date)

04-02-07 New INTERVIEW Date.

04-02-07 APPROVED !!!!!

04-27-07 ARRIVED IN U.S.

I'm going via Dehli. For the approval itself, I would plan on 3-6 months. After approval, plan on another 2-4 weeks for the Delhi consulate to get the case. Once in Delhi, I can show you how to get things going quickly. Get the approval first!!! Good luck! :thumbs:

K1 Visa Saga

7/27/2005 Went to India to see Sowmya

7/31/2005 Proposed and she said "yes"!

08/05/2005 Held official engagement ceremony

08/07/2005 Returned to US

08/26/2005 Sent in I-129F petition

08/31/2005 Received online NOA1

09/02/2005 Received NOA1 through snail mail

11/22/2005 Received online NOA2!!! (Day 88)

11/26/2005 Received NOA2 through snail mail.

11/28/2005 NVC receives case

12/1/2005 Case sent to Chennai consulate via DHL

1/12/2006 Interview date - Visa approved!!!

1/16/2006 Received visa by courier

1/20/2006 Arrival in US - Chicago O'hare POE (Reunited at last!!!)

1/21/2006 Returned home to Birmingham together.

2/10/2006 Married!!!

I (USC) filed for my finace. Just got the approval notice. waiting for NVC and the rest of the action at the embassy (Delhi)

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.
