Notice of Receipt I-129F

My NOA (I-797)came quite fast March 7, but since then no other details are available. The NOA came from the Vermont office. When call I'm always transferred to a 2nd tier agent. They cannot give me much info except for my decision should be in about 5 months from March 3rd date. I would appreciate any feedback, my Fiancee and I are waiting patiently, but stressed!

Ok, you don't have a timeline... so is this your NOA1 (I-797) or NOA2 (I-797C)?

If it is NOA1 then it is just really a receipt for your I-129F petition. Then, the wait can be up to 5 months, sometimes more. If it is the NOA2, then the petition has been approved for the beneficiary to go ahead with the K1 application (more forms, evidence, interview etc.)

Sorry but you wont hear anything from them unless you get an RFE or an approval ( NOA2 ) your going to end up waiting 5 months or more if you have no RFEs. This is the norm.

I'm guessing that this is your NOA1 since you say in the title that it was the I-129F receipt. If this is correct then you are still within normal processing and may not hear anything for a few more months yet. It would be very helpful if you would update your timeline so we can see where you're at in the process.
