You will apply for your citizenship come Feb. 7, 2012 & that would be good. You can expect your case for citizenship to take take about 4-5 months. Since u are going to take advantage od the 4 yr 9 months rule u should understand that if your interview happens before the actual "5 years" of being a permanent resident the case will be placed on hold hence no decision on the case. After you have done the OATH CEREMONY you'll be given the certificate of naturalization needed to upgrade the case to IR/CR-1. THE case would be upgraded on about 7 days or less after the request is received via email. And interview would be scheduled within 45 days if your consulate doesn't have a back log like the folks in other areas.

Is this ONLY for those who have the Oct 2010 and Feb 2011 NOA1?

I received my PD and NOA1 in Aug 2011...

I am however finding the information here useful - as its now been over the initial 5 months that was shown as a processing timeframe and as of 2/2/2012 it shows they are working on June 1 2011 filers... :(

Thanks for the welcome Ricardo - i have posted to the August 2011 F2A filers post - i think there are very few F2A filers that have LPR petitioners like me.

I will be filing for N-400 in Dec this year so then i will be expediting the process - but it would be really just nice to see SOME progress... i think im here for the info and the moral support! :)
