I am trying to feel hopeful with the flurry of March approvals from CSC but nothing is really helping me feel better..... I feel depressed, sorry for myself and ..... utterly lonely.

After sending my application on April 7th, I first waited (with many of you) for the IMBRA situation to resolve. Then I had to fly to India in June. My luck:: IMBRA RFE arrived just a day after I left the country. While in India, I thought I would spend some good time with my fiance. As luck would have it, my fiance suffered heart attack two days after I arrived there... we spent 5 weeks in hospitals. ICU, operation theatres, recovery room, OPD...... I was so stressed out that I myself ended up in ICU for one day.

Is there silver lining here? Yes! Our love grew stronger and stronger. We braced rough time together. We developed a bond that cannot be broken now.

The delay in submitting RFE, put me right in the back of the line..... !!

I miss him more now....I cry all the time. Would I get lucky and get approval notice now?

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.

I would certainly hope so! And wow, quite a story. There appears to be little rhyme or reason to the approval application process and clearing out the older applications appears to be a priority. Hold on a little while longer, which I am sure is very difficult, but your approval will indeed come.

Oh VSSKS that is such a sad turn of events for you. But the silver lining that you already see is that you were THERE for him - everything happens for a reason and it is simply amazing that you were physcially with him and were able to spend those 5 weeks together. Extremely stressful, no doubt, but so much better that you were there.

It appears that, for the most part, CSC is back in order of processing by NOA1 date so you should not have much longer to wait. Have you considered contacting a senator for assistance? I wonder if there is any way to get a medical expedite? Just a thought. Hang in there.

VSSKS,

You are not alone . I have cried so many tears you could fill a bathtub with them all. The stress can either make you or break you. This is a very challenging process . Keep praying , your approval will come soon.

God bless you and kep you in good health. (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Your time is probably coming soon. So far in September CSC has approved 11 April applications from VJ'ers, leaving 20. With luck, you'll hear within a few weeks. (I don't know how much impact your RFE delay will have.)

I am sorry for the health problems, but so thankful that you could weather them together.

I am sorry about the heart attack... CSC has been moving and their processing dates are moving forward so you are probably only a month to a month and a half away.

Hope things get sorted out as quickly as possible
