I am getting my materials in order and I noticed the G-1145 form says that it expires 05/31/2011. I am hoping to submit my application on the 30th or 31st. I looked at the .gov website and I do not see a new version. I know this form is optional, but I would appreciate the email updates regarding my application.

Thoughts on what early June filers should do?

From what I have seen you just use it because it is the current form and until they update it, it will be accepted.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

G-1145 goes with the I-129F set? ok !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Indeed the G-1145 is being bundled with the I-129F. Ok.

Yes, there appears to be no new version.

So I include a form with my application that says it's already expired? That's ok?

Yes there were discussions regarding other forms which had expired ... see link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/309280-expired-i-134-form/

The result was that if there is no new form then it is okay to use the one which is due to expire.

For the G-1145 it is just a request to be contacted when the package has been received so it should be fine. If you send it together with your I-129F package they will send you a message to let you know they have received it and sent it on to a Service Center for processing.

Yep. If you want continuing updates, you have to subscribe to the service, every 90 days, or six months, I forget which.
