yes they are forwarding it to california service center for US citizens, i think they are currently processing AUG 2005 forms.

Our NOA1 date on our I-130 is 10/5 and it was touched the other day. What they have done with it, I certainly do not know, but maybe that means they are actually up to the beginning of October. I have heard that they are usually ahead of the date posted.

a touch doesn't mean that they are processing October cases. As sweet as that thought might be...

They simply had your file in hand, probably to see if you have sent in all the info they need. maybe just to dust it off :-)

They are usually a bit ahead of what they post but not this much. It is around 2-3 weeks.

I don't see I-130 on their timeline for US Citizen Petition for Alien Spouse. Are they forwarding it to another processing center? IF so which one?

There are only 2 service centers processing I-130, that is Vermont & California, I-130's sent to Nebraska & Texas are tranfered to California, so your USCIS case number will begin with WAC, that is for california!!

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

As you can see in my signature our NOA1 Date for the I-130 was 9/27/05. The whole time there had been no touch and just recently we found out by email that it was approved. So, it can be possible that they are processing October cases now.

The best thing to do is relax, take it one day at a time. A person must have patience when it comes to dealing with immigration. Its a long hard wait for some. But at least we have a place where we can rant our feelings and share in the joy of others. lol
