DS230, I 864 , or any other RFE's , yeaah, 20 business days to review . Even the single most tiniest and simplest thing , why is that ??? So, try not to make any mistake , otherwise, you can get stuck for months .

That's just a standard the quote. Usually, it takes only a few days.

It takes very little time to do the actual review, but you have to wait in line until it is your turn. Kinda like going to a popular movie and you have to wait in line to buy your tickets.

it is been 10 business days since i sent out by email TWO passport photos and still no update .

I expect it would be another 10 before i hear anything.

There 's got to be thousand of people sending their applications each day .

is it a government run operation ???

CALL CALL CALL: You can call the NVC and ask them what your case status is. I did that before I got their email and had the requested evidence submitted before they told me what the RFE was. I would call them asap. 1-603-334-0700 have your case number ready. Good luck.

for China , it seems that 20 bus. days is a typical que .

Not in my experience but it DOES vary. Electronic processing usually gets faster response times.

4.5 months for NOA2.

23 bus days for receiving RFE ( it wouldn't even have been processed if I had not called to request processing the case after 20 bus days had lapsed ).

already 10 bus days after submitting RFR ( 2 passport photos ) still no news.

you need to give us up to 20 bus days for this to process . after 20 bus days , you can give us a call and then we'll look into it .

Nice , huh !

If I didn't get the help the 1st time after 20 days, my case probably wouldn't have been processed .

One thing, I didn't include the bar code page the 1st time I sent DS230 and I 864 . That might have caused the delay. then, this time , when they told me about the RFE , I printed the bar code and sent it along in the email .

Looks like nothing I can do now other than to wait for another 10 bus days before they can put a processing request into their system.
