Good morning everyone! I am wondering. For those of you that have had their interview scheduled recently, how long does it take before they actually give you the date from the moment they receive the packet. When I called the number yesterday they told that my case was there adn in the systems but that it could take anywhere from 5 days to 2 MONTHS for them to schedule the interview. That kind of concerned me.. Has anyone been scheduled for an August interview? Thank you in advance for your help!!!

For me, from the time they received my packet to scheduling an interview date was 14 days. When people call the Embassy they have been told that interview dates are given between the 15th-20th of each month. Also, the next set of dates will be given out the first week of June. Good luck!

hey everyone! i've been waiting nearly 2 months for an interview date (since april 5). i've called the local number (202 663 1225) to find out if a date has been set (as of 5/20 it hasn't). you don't have to spend money calling the consulado in dr. calling the visa specialist number is free and they give you the same info.
