Visa Fee Online Payment --Email receipt ok?

Hi all,

I paid my K-1 visa fee (for interview) online through BPI. So I don't have an "official" receipt, just an emailed acknowledgement from the "CGI Team". The email doesn't even state my complete name and passport number.

Has anyone paid online before? Is it ok to just bring a copy of that email to the interview as proof of payment? I will also bring a printout of my online statement, showing the debit for the MRV. Will this be enough?

Thanks

If that's all you have, it's what you take to your interview with you.

I haven't seen one of those receipts, but it seems strange that it doesn't include your full name. However, the receipt you get from BPI when you pay the visa fee in-person does not have a lot of information on it either. It's really a bare-bones receipt.

I'm guessing that BPI has electronically updated the Embassy of your payment, so you should be OK.

Good luck with your interview! Bring home the pink! :star:
