I mailed out my package on Wednesday to TSC - with the wrong PO Box # - but everything else right - USCIS, zip, enveloped labeled as K-1: I-129F

Now I see on the USPS website this -

We attempted to deliver your item at 9:35 am on September 09, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Was it just that being Saturday no one was there to get it, but they will Monday?

I didn't have this happen to me but I did send my documents FedEx and it says to to make sure that it shouldn't be delivered on Saturday. But you can call to the USPS and ask for a redelivery on Monday and they will do it for sure. Repeated deliveries are normal. Good luck on your journey

I sent the mail certified on a Wednesday.

I was told it should have arrived on Friday.

I will call USCIS and/or USPS on Monday - first thing.

12-09-06 Never received Packet 3, So we downloaded and sent to embassy

02-02-07 INTERVIEW (Missed 1st interview, waiting on new interview date)

04-02-07 New INTERVIEW Date.

04-02-07 APPROVED !!!!!

04-27-07 ARRIVED IN U.S.

I called the USPS and they told me that the notice was left and my package will be picked up on Monday.

Totally normal thing because a signature was required. It is a canned response (USPS website), don't worry about it. They will have it Monday morning, as no one is available to sign for it on Saturday.
