so here's my question.... My fiance already sent all his documents to me and i just got it now via fed-ex (4days), the moment i got it i reviewed everything already especially the I-134 form... so I saw some errors.

1st- he misspelled my son's name(k2) instead of EDAN XAVIER he putted EDEN xavier..

2nd- he misspelled abby's name (his daughter), he putted ABAGAIL insted of Abigail..

3rd is- in the # 3 - bank savings ,he putted $0? isnt it he should have put the amount in his bank statement?

4th- is he misspelled Philippines too there, he putted Philpines I think thats the way he spelled it...

so obviously my fiance didnt reviewed it, i dot understand cause w/ his work everything is hectic. so he could hardly get a time break to prepare these papers, so when he knew he is going to work at night that time, he hurried up preparing for the papers in the morning and sent it to me right away...

anyone has any idea about what should i do about this here? or he should send me another form... the form was notarized... thanks to all :)

Though I am not familier with K1, but I think this would raise red flags. Based on the threads I've read I've seen many cases where red flags were raised for failing to answer name of sons, daughters, and so on. So yes, if this is not the end of the world, I would say get all these 4 fixed and then send the one that will keep peace in your mind. If it was like he submitted the papers already to NVC, during interview, I would say flat that was a typo. Being busy, or being unmindful may not be used as an excuse to NVC

Because my fiance is also quite busy working and doesn't have a lot of patience to do paperworks, I just did the them instead. I think most of the pdf form files can be edited and saved so you can do that then just email them to him. Recheck all the documents, I mean recheck a hundred times. lol. OCD alert on my part, sorry. Anyway, email those to him then he just needs to print them out, sign, get them notarized, and send them to you. It's better to get dizzy rechecking them than to having to see errors and ask him to send them to you over and over again. It will save time and expenses to you both. :)

^^^ The I-134 does not need to be notarized. If you are using an I-134 that has a place for notarization, then you are using an outdated form. You will need to get the updated form.

OP...Have your fiancé send you an I-134 which doesn't have mistakes in it.

Also, if your fiancé's income is above 125% of the poverty level, then he does not need to fill up the savings part of the I-134. He will qualify on his income alone.

Best wishes for a smooth and speedy visa journey! :star:

I agree with the above posts. If your fiance doesn't have time to fill out the form you can help him and fill this one out and he can just sign and mail it to you. My fiance sent me two copies of the I-134 because we're confused before about the "Intend" and "Do not intend" thing. He was afraid to send me the wrong one that's why he made two forms and send it at the same time to save time and money.

I wont take the risk of bringing a document with me on my interview with a lot of errors :)

Goodluck!

Hi OUCHIE...

Here is how to figure out the income necessary to get a visa approval...

First, you need to determine the petitioner's "household size." The household size includes the petitioner, the beneficiary, and all of the petitioner's dependents. You also have to count any unmarried children under 21 years old...even if they don't live with the petitioner.

Next, you take a look at the chart that shows the income which is necessary for each household size. The chart is here.

That's all there is to it. B-)

my fiance doesnt have any dependents nor beneficiary... he's never been married before but he still living with his parents and a bro so all in all there are 4 members of the family... parents are already retired his brother is still single and is working as a nurse's assistant with annual income of 46k... i seen it in his ITR since we made him as a co-sponsor...my problem is my fiance was unemployed for t two years 2008 and 2009. mid 2010 that was june 2010 after our engagement he got hired and has been working untill now.. basically 2008 and 2009 so income and it shows on the itr...on 2010 itr he only got paid 26k from june up to dec...my question is is there any possibility that my application would be denied since that is only the income he got? i havent heard from the mebassy since my interview... im so scared that the 3 years itr would affect our application...thank you in advance!:):)

Hey OUCHIE...good news!!!

Using the government's definition of "household size," your fiancé's household size is two...you and him. That means he needs to earn just over $18,000 to qualify on his own. The consular officer doesn't really care how much your fiancé earned in 2008, 2009, and even 2010...as long as his current sustained income is above 125% of the poverty line on an annualized basis. By that measure, he qualifies on his own and does not need a cosponsor.

But, what are we talking about anyway? You already interviewed, you already filled up the 2GO delivery form, and the Embassy already kept your passport. Isn't that correct? That means your visa is approved, so you shouldn't be stressing...you should be celebrating. The next "update" you will hear from the Embassy is a text from 2GO notifying you that your visa is on the way. :star:

Now...would you PLEASE STOP SHOUTING!!! :P:D
