So confused by this...

I received my NOA1 about 3 weeks ago. The paper stated that the visa will be processed in Melbourne, Australia. I just got another letter in the mail stating that my Fiance will receive his paperwork in the mail very soon, BUT, now it says that it will be processed in Sydney, Australia. I called the Vermont Service Center & they told me Melbourne. I called the National Visa Center & they (rudely, I might add) said Sydney... So, what the ****? Has this happened to anyone else?

Now neither me nor my Fiance know where his interview will take place. Will it say on the package he will receive soon? I gave him the number to the Embassy in Sydney (he hasn't called yet, asleep at the moment... yes, I'm impatient). But, he needs his interview to be in Melbourne. Would it take long to have it changed if it's in Sydney instead?

I'm extremely irritated by this. On the NOA1 it said Melbourne & that if that needs to be changed, to call & do so. Now I have two different places giving me two different cities!!! :ranting:

it says melbourne because u put it on the application and when it went to NVC they will send it to the right embassy

Hrmm, interesting...

Hopefully that doesn't make things more complicated for him.

My Fiance lives in Tasmania, so either way, he'll have to catch a plane or boat to get over there.

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.
