Thanks! However, I got my letter yesterday lol! So that answered my question before I got a chance to do that! My biometrics appointment is in Baltimore on January 30th at 12:00. What all does this biometrics entail? Fingerprints, and what?

Fingerprints and pictures, super easy and quick.

That's the day of our AOS Interview, hopefully it's a lucky one for us both!

Had my Biometrics appointment yesterday. It went well and was quick once I got through the line up of people. Who would have thought there'd be soooo many people! lol Take care of your fingers...one woman was told to come back after a cut on her finger healed.

On my way home from my biometrics, I got an update from USCIS saying my EAD had been approved and should receive it in the mail within 30 days :)I like when things start moving along. One more left, the I-495 approval, hopefully without an interview!

How long is the biometrics appointment? I have to drive three and a half hours .. hoping to be in and out quickly to get home.

The biometric part itself is quick...fingerprinting and a picture. It's a 'cattle call' as my husband calls it. Everyone's appointment is at 8am so it depends on how close you are to the front of the line. We were #22 and was out of there within half an hour. Same deal as at the Embassy, just bring what you need, no cell phones and go through a security screening.

Glad it's fairly quick, then. My appointment is at 10am, hoping the place isn't too busy. Hate to drive three and a half hours for a silly 15 minute appointment, but oh well.

Another day, another worry. I just realized that I filed for my EAD/AP in my married name, but I didn't include a copy of my marriage certificate for them, only for my AOS. Am I going to get RFEs for this?

Wasn't it all in the same package? I can't remember it's been so long that I don't know if I included 3 copies of the marriate cert or not.

We sent everything all together in one package with a cover letter that laid everything out for them that was in the package.

So not sure what everyone else did? Hope they can put two and two together!!

It was all in the same package, but I thought since I had to include three separate copies of my passport/I-94/visa that maybe I should have included three copies of my marriage certificate as well? I have no idea.

We only sent one copy and so far so good the only thing we got an RFE on is some forms weren't complete and evidence my husband was the same person that filed for K1. For he works in Canada and they were confused for some reason?? Stupid

I included 3 copies of my marriage certificate, but I would imagine that they could just look up your file before sending an RFE.
