Hello Girls !!

I have a good news to share with you...

today, i emailed the consulate in Casablanca ONLY ONE EMAIL (i used my work address, as jerseygal did ) and I got an answer 2 hours later...

my interview is on 19th october at 8:00am !!! :dance::dance:

I don't know why they give us this quite far time??!! nearly 6 weeks from now :blink: ... anyway, we're excited about the news ... at least we can plan according to a specific date !!

5/13/09 : sent I-751 package to Vermont Center

check cashed : 5/22//09

NOA1 received : 5/26/09

Biometric Letter dated 5/29/09

Biometric Appointment: 6/25/09

touched: 6/26/09

9/30/09: got an email from USCIS. Production of the card has been ordered.

10/07/09: Got 10 years GC in mail

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

FYI Ramadan last year was a very "lucky" time for those who interviewed at Casa. I remember reading somewhere they were handing out visa's left and right! Hope that's still the same this year!

yes, I heard that too, so inch'allah, it'll be a smooth ride for us all. Said's interview is on day 10 of Ramadan!

I think libragodess is right about Casa around this time. I know that many of us were approved with fairly easy interviews last fall. I hope the trend continues for you! :D

I am happy for you :dance: but I am extremely upset, my package was approved on the 29th and sent out around this time and I keep getting a stupid FAQ, they have returned my email in the past 2 days. And you get an interview date? I am not liking this one bit and I am going to make a fuse. I work with the governement and I sent an email and I got no response, in the past two days. I am starting to think they did something to may case or it never left, the US. :crying:

my interview will be by the end of Ramadan, by the Holy day (laylatu el Qadr) :) inshallah

Private wish that you get an answer soon... just keep emailing them & don't forget to mention your case #... i "think" that they are answering regarding the kind of visa K1 or K3... anyway, just keep emailing them, and write them btw their Moroccan work time!! good luck
