NVC says 2-4 weeks. Based upon my observations and personal experience, 10-15 days.

Good Luck!

CSC seems to be slow sending the petitions to the NVC lately.. We were approved (K1) 28th Aug and as yet our petition has not been 'received' by the NVC.

Hang in there, could be another 2 weeks till they get it.

good luck :)

I got through to an operator just now. She told me I shouldn't be calling if 4 weeks haven't gone by. I told her that wasn't realistic since most people got their files sent through sooner than that. She said "well, we don't have it". And I said, "so, I can't call and ask?" Sheesh.

I have PMS.

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

Or the operator has PMS. This is so odd, hockeygal! Every time I called, they were extremely polite and helpful.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

They seem to be getting so busy, that a few have developed a bad attitude. Or perhaps as you suggested!!!

Only two mean ones in my case, the rest were very friendly.
