Some odd questions about order after NOA2

Since my last topic got ignored about requesting more time...

Can we send in only THREE forms for packet 3 and then send the remaining forms afterwords? I know you can send in the FOUR ds forms alone, THEN send in the readiness+covoerletter, but we can send in only 3?

reason is because we don't have my fiance's passport information for one of the forms as we're waiting on his passport renewal and our NOA2 expires in a little over a month.

Question 2: Can we pay the visa fee NOW without sending in packet 3 forms OR doing the medical? AND will this keep our noa2 extended if we go past our expire date?

i'm basiclly looking at ways to keep out NOA2 in check, while we wait for these god damn stupid documents. :s

The only documents that are needed to be sent in after the Embassy receives your case, is the DS2100 and DS230 part I all other documents are needed at the interview to my knowledge ofcouse they want you have those documents before you send in the package, but we used that time to just gather everything. We waited till we got the interview date and then we paid for the visa and are getting the medical done this week so we are ready for her interview hope this helps.

They need to ds2100 and the ds230 to be able set your interview date.

From the P3 letter itself...

London wants back before interview:

DS-230, part 1 (1 copy) (Sign it) That means only page 1-2. K1s do not need p.3-4

DS-156 (2 copies) (Sign it). It generates a barcode when you print it.

DS-156K (1 copy) (Do Not sign it) You sign at the interview. It’s an oath.

DS-157 (2 copies) (No signature)

Along with DS-2001 and a coverletter with your information on it when you are ready to interview.

we can fill in all of these ASIDE from ds-156 due to missing passport information(as we're waiting on a really long delayed passport...)

hense why my question is directed to: Can we send in only 3 forms(ds-230, ds-156k and ds-157), and then the remaining other forms. Or can we pay for the Visa fee now without mailing in anything. Our Noa2 is close to expiring and I want to avoid any issues cause of that. I am trying to keep london from thinking we abandoned, but it's very hard when we have nothing to submit

I would send in what you can and a cover letter explaining why you can't send in the DS-156 at this time.

Edit to add: And mention "I am still activly pursuing a K1 visa" or some such affirmation of his intentions.

Thank you Nich-nick. (Love your k-1 in a nutshell for london guide btw, it's very helpful)

I'll have my fiance do that this week then. I'm just so worried that this is taking so long, I don't want us hitting any extra bumps along the way... :s
