I've been waiting to find out my interview date for my K1 visa application. They acknowledged reciept via email on 12 May. I've been following the Colombia Club Guide and Tips page and called the US DOS visa office who told me my application was still in Administrative Processing. When I asked further about this they told me that it would be in AP until the visa was issued. Should I be worried?

I am worried that this is going to happen to me and my fiance's petition. I fear going through the AP process. Does that just mean extra background checks or is there more to that? Does anyone know how much extra time it takes when the petition goes through AP?

Chances are if you got packet#3 to the embassy before the middle of the month 1-20th you will get a June interview date. Check the website using you BGT# that the NVC issued. Check the appointments and you should be able to see if you made it for June. They update twice a month. :wow:
