After almost 5 and a half months we have not gotten our NOA2! My fiance called today USCIS and the lady told him to call back tomorrow because our case was last updated on April 18th (even though on the uscis website says march 22nd!) and will be updated again on may 18th(a month later!) and considered past time. so #######???!!! are our petitions just sitting on someone's desk until the 'update day'???????? if we dont get the approval tomorrow are we gonna have to wait until june 18th????????

she also told him that he could file something to do with a late action notice when its updated or something to that effect... he could not explain to me very well, I dont know if she was talking about the service request.... how does that work?

I dont know what to do now, I am running out of patience!

Sorry to have to be the one to break it to you but 5+ months has been the "norm" lately. There has been a lot of talk about it over the last few months so if you want to see how others have been handling it you should do a search and read through some discussions. You can ask to talk to a teir 2 operator to put in a service request as well as contact your senator and see if that speeds things along.

Also under the tab "immigration timelines" you can find a lot of other people's status that filed at the same time as you. "Igor's list" is a favorite resource of mine for tracking who's receiving their NOA2's right now. Looks like December and January are processing right now as well and dipping into February. It won't be long, now! Hang in there!

The processing time is now 6 mths .they will tell you that when you call . My case was processed just after the 6 mth mark . be patient .
