My fiance works with the US Air Force? What documents can we submit to support the I-134 Form?

Are these supporting documents enough?

1. Previous and Current Military Orders

2. Statement of Service signed by Officer in Charge

3. 2008, 2009, 2010 W2 Forms

4. Current US Federal Income Tax Return (Form 1040)

Do you think we still need to submit the bank statements and such?

My fiance falls above the 125% poverty level.

Please help us.

USAF military orders are only needed if he is deploying to an active duty combat zone and you are requesting an expedite.

Statement of service is a good idea not really needed tho.

Tax returns and W2 yes.

LES stubs for the last few months leading up to the interview.

- When I went to my interview for K-1 with my husbands affidavit all we brought were

Tax returns with W2s for the last 3 years including most recent

8 LES pay stubs.

Thats all, and I was approved for the K-1.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I was really nervous about the I-134 and evidence as well because military taxes and LES are different and I was scared they wouldn't be able to read it correctly.

My husbands taxes show much less than 125% but he makes well over, its because of the deployments being non-taxable. But they know how to read and match up the LES and the W2s etc.

At the interview they did ask me a little about his job, just don't give them too much info. Sometimes its a test to see how much you will talk about it when you aren't really supposed to.

How did you answer the question? Is it alright to say "He's in the airforce"?

Having Served in the Military don't worry about your taxes not reflexing a higher tax income.

On the LES (and have 6 months copies)

It will show:

1) His gross salary

2) His Non-taxed Allowances

3) His taxable Salary

4) His years of service

When asked about his job its ok to say which unit he works for and the type of work (he is a mechanic or admin support guru) and if they ask more than that just reply that you and he have an understanding that because you are a foreign National that he can only share a limited degree of information with you. That should answer the mail for you.

Good Luck

Hello! I just had my interview earlier. The pre-screener just got my fiance's 2010 W2s and form 4010, plus his LES. I compiled my documents for support in 1 folder and sub-divided them:

1. W2s stapled with 4010 per year (i had 2008-2010)

2. LES for 12 months

3. bank statement

4. bank certification

Both the pre-screener and consulted just asked if my fiance is in active duty and how long he has been in service. No questions pertained to his MOS, rank, or anything that pertained to his duties. The interview was a breeze, in fact, the consul did not ask for any supporting proofs or documents, while the pre-screener just got my NBI and police clearances; CENOMAR and birth certificate. To think that i brought about 3 kg of documents filed in an expandable folder LOL. :bonk:

Good luck~

9/14/02 - became a couple

5/2/06 - his migration :(

6/17/09 to 12/1/09 - wonderful period of living together in US!

11/28/10 - I-129F sent to Lewisville,TX via UPS

11/30/10 - package received

12/02/10 - cheque encashed

12/7/10 - electronic confirmation of package; routed to VSC

12/9/10 - touched (?)

12/9/10 - NOA1 hard copy reached military installation

12/30/10 - NOA1 hard copy reached military unit

1/05/11 - NOA1 hard copy finally reached his maibox, yey!

2/25/11- called military helpline to request expedite I-129f processing

/28/11 - received USCIS letter requesting documents to support expedite request

3/11/11 - faxed documents to USCIS

3/22/11 - approval notification of expedite request received through mail

3/25/11 - approval email notification of expedite request

3/28/11 - I-129F petition for fiancee application approved!!! a step closer!!!

4/4/11 - VSC sent to Manila

5/04/11 - Medical at St. Luke's (passed!)

5/05/11 - vaccination

5/17/11 - USEM Interview, approved!

Thanks fr your detailed response :) Congratulations on your interview btw kicking.gif What's a 4010 form? are you referring to the 1040 form or is that a different form specific to the US armed forces?

Yup! what the others said.

I told them hes in the USAF hes active duty and I said he fixes stuff, a mechanic of sorts. Then just said we don't talk much about his job for security and safety.

My interviewer smiled and said yes yes good thing.
