for everyone having problems with DS156, check this link.. im fortunate to have an IT fiance

http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/108128.pdf

I have the same problem. From all the various threads on this topic, I am coming to think that it's the site itself that has a problem and not our browsers. Let's give it a few days.

By the way, New1, thanks for your link but it has only 2 pages. When you print the online form I think it should have a third one, which prints a barcode too.

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

It can take two weeks or more from the time an approved 129F petition leaves the NVC until the time it arrives at the U.S. Embassy Manila and it is entered into the Embassy's system. Once the petition is entered into the Embassy's system, the Embassy will send the beneficiary this eligibility letter.

Beware: sometimes the Embassy doesn't send an eligibility letter. However, you don't need an eligibility letter in order to proceed through the visa process.

Best wishes to everyone for a smooth and speedy visa journey! :star:

Thanks

You're welcome, new1. :star:

If Chinook and I had waited for the eligibility letter, Chinook would still be in Bacolod. :clock:
