OK May Filers I Have another Topic within our group like Sabrina Started about our loved ones.

Where is the first Place you will go ouside the Home, once you get to the USA? Have you and your Fiance(e) discussed where he or she will take you on your Outing? Share it with us! Like Sabrina I will start. I will take my Fiancee to "Universal Studios Hollywood" to see the "KING KONG 360HD Ride" thats the first Place she wants to go. She sees Commercials for that amazing enough in the philippines! I dont know how she knows but I said i will take her first thing!.........................Where is the FIRST Place my fellow May Filers will go in the USA????:thumbs:.......................I Hope Grace dont freak out when she sees the Big Ape!!!!

We'll probably go kayaking on one of the nearby lakes... we have our own kayaks (kept at his place, of course!) and it's one of our favourite things to do together. :luv: Or if we feel like making a road trip, we'll take the surfboards down to the coast (the Gulf of Mexico - he's teaching me to surf) and spend a weekend down there. Awwww Tom. You're the sweetest!

Tolga requested to go straight home. He wants to see where we live and spend time with my daughter. Then when I asked him where he wanted to go on our honeymoon, he said Disneyworld and wants to bring my daughter. That is why I love this man so much. He wants his family together. heart.gif

I've been to the US before, and on my first trip there, I had to go to a Sonic, and an IHOP!!! I still need to go to a Hard Rock Cafe!

First restaurant I can't wait to go to though is Joe's Crab Shack, they are so awesome! We've got one right at the landing in Branson! Way better than Red Lobster which is the only thing remotely like one here in Canada.

As to where, somewhere that I want to go, that I'm dying to go??? Lol, I can't wait to take Stuart to Niagra Falls, but that's here in Canada.... I think I'd really like to see the Grand Canyon... I think that's gonna be up there in my list... I also want to go to New Orleans!

You also just made me think of an interesting thread for the living in america section. We're planning on driving down and hitting points of interest along the way, to see the country a little... gonna ask the locals to help us pick a route!

Haha I think we all share the common interest of Walmart. Which, by the way, I found some very nice furniture from there.

Tom, what's your story about going to the Philippines? Since she has never been here yet. I'm sure that Grace will be fine here as long as she has you ^^

And also, I never believed it before, but I am now checking Igor's list everyday, obsessively. So the insanity starts!

Too bad you guys couldn't sleep over tonight. Ice is gone for the weekend, up in the mountains of Chiang Mai where there is no cellphone reception, electricity or running water....and lots of mosquitoes.

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Nicolette we will keep you company here dont worry! ice will be back before you know it! I am not planning on going back to the philippines just yet. I am praying things will go good for Grace at her Interview. Just on a side note, Her father is gravely ill now with Cancer, so its trying on Grace right now.I really dont know how it will affect the process? We both just trusting that all will be well.:innocent: I told her the Petition is secondary, your dad at this time is more Important. even through this process with medical and interview seeing NVC dont have our case yet it could conceivably be early next year After she get Visa and when it expires in 6 months. we will hope and Pray! Tolga LOVES Walmart. He tells me he wants to go there ALL the time. lol

Anyway...I don't know if I shared this with all of you. But I watch it once in a while when I'm missing my sweetie. It's a video his sister took with my iPhone. I thought she was just looking at it, but she figured out how to capture a special moment. A little background story...Tolga and I had already discussed wanting to marry. He would say almost daily, you will be my wife. I would always agree. So when he actually officially asked me, I was taken off guard. And his questionable nervous behaviour that night made sense. lol

Enjoy :)

Thanks Tom! Such a sweet comment to make. The funny part of this is Tolga was not long into learning English, and he was practicing "I want to have your hand for life". And he got so nervous he didn't say it clearly, and I didn't understand him. When he put the ring on my hand, I was totally shocked. He always tries hard for me. That is why I don't mind going through something as difficult as waiting for a K1. We are doing this together. I adore this man...who learned English just for me. (L)
