Not sure if we did this right.

I am out of town, so my husband mailed his I-751 form some time around the first week of Feb since his conditional GC expired the last day of April. They cashed our check right away, but we havent heard anything yet. I am out of the country and getting a little worried, esp reading about bio-metrics appointments, what is that? I am pretty sure he sent in all the "evidence" of us living together, we have a child together also. I am just confused and worried now. Let me know if I am missing something.

thats strange it seems a bit long, have you been checking your mail, you should have gotten a noa1 receipt, and one year extension letter aweek or two after you mailed your 1-751,and now it's may, you need to call the service number 1-800-375-5283 ask what has happen, you did not receive the noa-1 recipt and one year extension letter, unless your case is under review, more back round checks, that takes longer, good luck

your biometrics is your finger prints and photo taken, for FBI NAME CHECK and if all is ok, your evidence, marriage, back round check, then you will receive your noa2 and your new permanent resident card 10 years,

Thanks

I sent the number to my husband to check on it. I just called him and made sure he has been checking the mail and that there is nothing un-opened that he hasnt gotten to. Ugh so frustrating.

Hopefully he will call in the next hour and find out whats going on, since he has all the numbers at home. Was thinking of calling my bank and see if there is some kind of receipt number on the back of my cashed check, the online image is not available right now.
