Got (false?) RFE...to resubmit or not to resubmit?

They say that I need to submit a business license if I'm self-employed, which I did do and attached with the affidavit of support. Should I have a supervisor look over it or just resubmit the business license? I ask because I don't want them to review it, remove the RFE and then here comes along a document from me possibly delaying or mixing up the process...

I've tried to speak to a supervisor but they always say they're busy. They say it takes 10 days for a supervisor to review. Any ideas?

Resubmit the business license with the RFE letter, but make sure it is certified copy if you didn't send that the first time. You can ask for a Level 2 person who can review it also. The 10 days for a supervisor to review is BS. They should be able to get one on the phone then. Just be politely demanding that you need to talk to a supervisor.

If you have a certified copy of the business license available, it would probably take less time for you to just re-submit it, send it overnight mail. I have seen people who got an RFE, who sent in the required documentation getting approved just a few days later. Honestly seems this would be less timely than asking someone to review your case. Just my opinion though

Casprd is right. We had an RFE generated from materials I KNEW we submitted. I called NVC twice and the last guy I spoke to said to just resubmit the info (they accepted a scanned and emailed version even though Turkey is not one of the email countries) because if he put in an order to have them to look into the documents again it would take an additional 20 days. So he told us to just submit the missing piece again since it will take up to 20 days for them to confirm the newly submitted materials anyway. If he put in the order and they still didn't find the information, that would add up to an additional 40+ days.

Know that you will generate fake RFEs on an almost daily basis, sometimes we get them twice a day. NVC will tell you to ignore those and refer back to the 20 day wait period.

Thanks. What do you all mean by a "certified" business license? I just had the original license scanned and e-mailed to them. My case is entirely electronic by the way.

I managed to speak a supervisor who said I should just resubmit the business license, which I did with the NVC cover sheet, but now I just received the checklist. It states that I should submit the requested documents with the checklist, but I spoke to an operator and he said the document cover sheet should suffice. :bonk:
