Thank you very much for your responses. I appreciate it, I call the USPS and they gave me the the 1800 number and then when I call they said it's not in their hands anymore and it's the fault of the USPS. So I guess I have to file N-545 for the replacement. I am still in shock up to now. I am praying that the passport book is not included in that mutilated package. At least I will not re-apply for my passport...

I have heard that you can apply on site for a US Passport at the oath ceremony at Los Angeles. My oath is on 11/29/2011 at Pomona Fairplex. I wanted to know what kind of payments would they accept. If I get a money order or cashiers check, would I have to make separate ones (fees, expedite fees and execution fee) or just one with the total amount?

They put my passport in the same package as my CON and it was destroyed when I received it yesterday. So I filed for a replacement (with the help of the lady in the post office) I think it was DS-86. And I proceeded to USCIS to show what happened to my CON and asked if it is still valid (it was mutilated). The lady said we can apply for I-912P for a fee waiver because we are already broke paying all the immigration fees. And we will try that route, hopefully they will approve us... The post office cannot help us with the damaged CON (very frustrating)...

Yes, they did it with mine too!:yes: . When I received my CON back, it had one of my passport photos stapled on one of the corners! :whistle:

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Today I checked travel.state.gov and my status shows that they are processing my application and provided me with a record locator number... check not cashed yet...

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled
