No, I won't. There's a provision for US citizenship in the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA) for biological children born of at least one USC parent outside the USA as long as the USC meets prior residency requirements. It's called a CRBA (Consular Registration of Birth Abroad). Basically, it's just more paperwork and red tape. It's not like I'm not used to that by now.

Lucky, I wish I had that much time off of work. When I go to pick my lady up, it will be over the 4 days off I have for Thanksgiving. So won't have much time there.

I've been at my job for over a year. So, I'm using my week-long vacation and taking 3 out of the 6 weeks allowed for personal unpaid leave.

We got our interview scheduled for GG. It is on Oct 20th. I'm hoping we can get it moved up once the medical is done. That is as soon as she would let us schedule it. I don't know if it is possible but once she is done with the medical I'm going to call and ask if she can do it sooner.

Well, friends... the time is finally here. In about 12 hours from now, I'll be getting ready to get in a van to take my mother and I to the airport. I've been preparing for this all day and I'm still not finished. Laundry is finally done. I'm just about finished packing everything. The car is mostly loaded up. Dishes still need to be finished, but only have a small amount to do. And, the last thing I need to do is sweep the floors. Then, it's off to the Chicago area where I'll wait at my mom's place for our ride. Oh, on top of that, I still have homework to do for school... and, it's due tomorrow night while I'm on the plane. I'm not going to be getting any sleep tonight. However, it'll help me adjust to the time difference. It's hard to believe that I'll be with my mahal soon.

Man! Oh, man... I'd forgotten how long of a flight that was. I'm happy to say that we made it to Manila safely and that I've had a chance to hold my little angel. She is soooo precious. I'm also happy to be with my love, but haven't had much time to spend with her yet. She's been busy taking care of Serena. Amy's sister is here with us for the night tonight. I know we'll have plenty of time to get reacquainted.

GG passed her medical and now just has her interview left on the 20th. Oh and plane ticket since she spent nearly all of her money. >.<

Yeah, we're in the same situation due to Serena's early arrival. The money I sent Amy for the medical was spent on supplies for the birth. I have to cut the budget in half for our wedding ring set to pay for the medical. This is the last hurdle before the interview on the 18th. We plan on taking care of this tomorrow.
