It's gotten awfully quiet in here! Are we the only pair left that hasn't gotten their NOA2?! :devil:

Yea it's getting a little discouraging now they're starting on May. To me it looks like we're being skipped. Hopefully tomorrow or at least soon. I'm doing all I can to keep GG positive but it's getting to me now too. :blush: A bit heartbreaking now. I try being positive with her telling her it should be soon then uscis just lets us both down. My guess is tomorrow but I keep saying that............

Keep your chin up, John. I'm praying for yours to com. Tom (southcalhog) just got his approval. GG could be going through some additional scrutiny being from an Arab country. Or, (more likely) the background check is taking a little longer due to slow moving lines of communications between the US and Jordan.

On a happier side note, Amy went to the DFA to renew her passport today. She, being the smart woman she is, requested rush processing. She'll have her new passport around August 1. Yea!! Now, back to reality... still nothing from NVC. I sent a copy of our NOA2 to nvcresearch@state.gov. I called later and asked how long I should wait and was told by a somewhat rude operator that there was no specific time frame; that it takes longer than a few hours to research. At that point, I was thinking like Bill Engval saying "here's your sign."

Current Status: Married on March 3, 2012. Preparing for AOS.

04-04-11 I-129F sent via USPS Priority Mail

04-06-11 Delivered to Dallas Lockbox - signed for by J. Arthur

04-08-11 NOA1 sent to me, Check cashed, Case transferred to the California Service Center

04-11-11 Touched, Received e-notification via text message of NOA1 (at 12:30 am?!?!?)

04-15-11 Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail. Notice date 4/8/11.

06-24-11 Touched, Email and text - NOA2 approved in 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days (77 days total)!!!

07-01-11 NOA2 hardcopy received

07-27-11 NVC receive - FINALLY!

07-29-11 NVC depart to Manila

10-13-11 Medical exam at St. Luke's Medical Center (Day 1)

10-17-11 Medical exam at St. Luke's Medical Center (Day 2)

10-18-11 Embassy interview - APPROVED!!

12-30-11 POE Chicago

03-03-12 Wedding Day!!

GG is actually from Philippines only living in Jordan so maybe she is getting checks from both? :blush:

i hope we get it soon too :( too bad we're at vsc. we filed march 17th but got noa1 only on april 7th :( well as far as i saw they will start approving april at vsc this week

I thought that I would start to get calmer as the time drew nearer, instead I'm by far more edgy then I was at this time last month.

I'm feeling like I'm 2 years old and want to throw myself on the floor and have a temper tantrum! :girlwerewolf2xn::clock:

I can't complain too much though, I leave in three weeks to spend a month with the fella, so at least if it doesn't hurry up and get here, we still have time together. Seems like it's down to a drip again as the week is going on.
