That's what I figured when I started entertaining the idea of changing jobs in the middle of this process. I decided I would only move along to another job if it was a higher position, and that's what I'm currently interviewing for. Which, I believe, is a very valid reason for a job change.

That being said, I've learned the "better be safe than sorry" adage fits well in this process, and therefore my parents will have no problem sponsoring us if the need arises.

Cass,

Consider context, which we don't have for Mat (why I wrote "may possibly") but we do have for you.

As a recent college graduate in a first job your potential problem is establishing that your current income is sustainable, as you have little work history post-school. It probably would be prudent to have an alternate sponsor lined up.

As for changing jobs before the interview, a lot will depend on why you change jobs. Moving to a higher level position with a substantial increase in salary will make a very different impression than being fired for cause from the previous job. Again - context.

My fiancé had to add an attachment, so we made it in Excel so it looked exactly like the form, titled it as Supplement to G-325A [Lastname Petition], and had him sign and date four copies of it.

No clue as I just sent it off today. (Think I may have messed up my own G-325A, but we'll see if it results in an RFE.)

OK, confidence on 1 set of G-325A's. This is good news. However, you advised potential issues with yours.

What exactly is the issue?

I'm an idiot and forgot to write "None" in the box where it says Last Address Lived abroad (never lived abroad). It doesn't say, if None, so state, but I'm guessing a blank is an RFE and I'm just sorta beating myself up.

No big deal, just kind of wanted to have a nice wedding so I needed a relatively non-f*cked up start.

Caladan,

Although the common advice is to write "none" in that box or any other that applies, it would be a rare occurrence to get an RFE for the lack of it. I mean really, who is that #######? Although you may get the ####### adjudicator, one would generally surmise that a blank box means "N/A".

Don't worry about it for now. Focus on a approval.

Caladan,

As long as you sent all 4 pages and signed each of them you won't get an RFE for what is or is not on a G-325A.
