Hello Guys,

I'm new to this forum, although i must honestly admit i have been following this thread for a while now because i am also a May 2011 filer (VSC). I just received my letter of approval today!! The approval date was 1/6/2012.From reading your various posts, i couldn't be more astonished to the support this group has showed for one another. I wish you ALL the best in your future endeavors and a drama-free approval.

Note: Please add me to the approval list. My information are as follows:

1: Date Package sent: N/A

2. Date Received by USCIS: 5/9/2011

3. Notice date for Biometrics Screening: 5/30/2011

4. Approval Date: 1/6/2012

First post but been a lurker , thought I should share my good news :)

  • NOA1 Date......received 5/26/2011 per the letter
  • Biometrics......scheduled Elizabeth City /6/29/2011 - took early on 6/16/2011
  • Approved.... 1/6/2012 , letter received Jan 11, 2012

My online case status shows initial review. Out of interest I called on Dec 29 and got the usual we are processing April 4 applications and I will be another 50+ days

So there is hope

Greeting all.

Received my approval from VSC today. Decision date January 11th 2012. Card will arrive within 60 days which I know will generally be with 10 days. Letter mailed from VSC on January 12th and received at my house in Florida today (January 17th). My wife and I will celebrate tonight!!!

Thank you to all of you for your updates and post. I have been following everyday.

Best of luck to those of you waiting for a decision---it is just around the corner.

Received my approval from VSC today. Decision date January 11th 2012. Card will arrive within 60 days which I know will generally be with 10 days. Letter mailed from VSC on January 12th and received at my house in Florida today (January 17th). My wife and I will celebrate tonight!!!

Naturalization

July 19, 2014 - N400 packet sent out

July 21, 2014 - N400 packet delivered

July 23, 2014 - received email/text that I-797 is issued

July 26, 2014 - received I-797 in mail

August 11, 2014 - received the Biometrics notification

August 14, 2014 - biometrics walk-in (original date August 20)

August 18, 2014 - in line for interview scheduling

September 9, 2014 - yellow letter is received (letter is issued September 3)

November 3, 2014 - interview notice is issued (email/text alert)

November 10, 2014 - interview notice received with the interview date of December 11, 2014.

November 10, 2014 - request to reschedule mailed out

December 5, 2014 - interview notice is sent out (email/text alert)

December 11, 2014 - received an interview letter in mail

January 10, 2015 - interview on Saturday at 7am

January 26, 2015 - sent the requested documentation

February 26, 2015 - oath letter is issued (email/text alert)

March 2, 2015 - oath letter is received

March 18, 2015 - oath at 8am

Hi, guys. We received our approval letter on the 9th of this month.

Approval date was 01/05/2012.

I was going to post this when we actually received the GC in the mail but to see and let others know the time beween our approval letter and the GC mail, I'm writing this down.

Congratulations on those who were approved and hope other people who are still waiting gets their approval letter soon enough :)

I'll let you know when we received the GC.
