What a wonderful day!

was getting ready for bed and got a text message from USCIS. Very vague, said case had been updated. Scared the ###### out of me hahaha. Went to website and there it was "On April 27, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice."

Called my Fiancee in the Philippines...Whole house exploded with excitement...Did the Skype thing too...tears and laughter!!

Awesome!! Way to go! I am always glad to hear of the good news with petitions. I will be filing for the Philippines too. Could you just give me a brief statement about the evidence you sent with the petition. I just want to make comparisons with what I am planning to put together. Did you front load? I am always hearing this is a good idea! Again, congrats!!

Feb 01, 2011 - Sent I-129F to Texas Lockbox

Feb 07, 2011 - I-129F Received

Feb 19, 2011 - NOA1 (Mail)

May 13, 2011 - NOA2 (e-mail notice)

May 17, 2011 - NOA 2 (Mail)

May 28, 2011 - Got case number after 2 weeks of waiting

May 30-31, 2011 - 2-day Medical at SLMEC (without the NVC letter, just the MCN)

July 01, 2011 - Interview (APPROVED despite delayed documents!)

July 14, 2011 - Picked up visa from 2Go Main

July 15, 2011 - Bought one-way ticket for first time immigrant (rate)

July 18, 2011 - CFO at SMEF-COW

July 31, 2011 - Flight to the US! (Finally!)

Hi Jessa. Well to be brief, I include pictures, copies of airline boarding passes, hotel reciepts, etc etc. Anything that showed us in the same place at the same time, and together. I also journaled our meetings as a cover page. I talked about all the times we met, tagged all the documents for each time with the dates etc. I visited Annie 6-7 times in Singapore and I have been to her home in Phils three times. First time she was not in phils, but I met family and my new daughter. We also travelled to Manila together for a holiday, took our daughter with us. I included pics of that trip all three of us together, htoel recipts thier boarding passes etc. Maybe I overdid it, but we got through with no RFE's. I would frontload as much "proof" as you can.

Congratulations!!!!

When we found out we were on Skype together, I shared my screen with him so he could read the email. And yes, lots of tears, and laughter and excitment!!!!
