Does USCIS check if you are employed

I am the US citizen. There is a chance I will be unemployed at the time I send in the form and paperwork to lift conditions on my wife's green card and go from 2 to 10 year. I don't see any request to verify employment again and support as I did to get the 2 year card, but do people typically send in something proving they are still employed along with the proof of an ongoing relationship? Do they ask about this and if we are interviewed will they ask and could it jeopardize her chances to get the new green card approval?

The Petitioner no longer have to submit affidavit of support at Lifting Condition stage, is your wife working? why do you think you are going to be unemployed? you being unemployed won't affect her ROC.

You already did the affidavit which is good for 10 years. You are done with that. The only reason to submit tax returnsa is to show you file jointly and have a legitimate marriage.
