Me again.............

I really want to make sure this is done right.. Thanks in advance...

Both forms ask for his address but the address he has is only to the Post office not a physical address.. Will they except that?

IF not what should I do lol

K1 VISA
4/25/2011 Sent Papers for Toney to sign.
5/9/2011 Received package from me
5/10/2011 He sent back to me DHL
5/11/2011 Received packaged
5/14/2011 Sent Forms to the Texas Lockbox.
5/16/2011 They received it. Signed by J.Author
5/18/2011 NOA1 Text/Email
5/23/2011 NOA1 Hardcopy
7/29/2011 NOA2 APPROVED NO RFE

I don't think they will If I'm not mistaken he has to have a physical address. Just put an address where he sleeps every night just to be safe. I'm sure more ppl will post and tell you the exact answer to this question.

What do you mean where to put his mailing address? You put it where it asks mailing address and USCIS will send mail to you the petitioner not him. Only when it comes time for his interview from embassy there in Jamaica

Jamaicans do not send mail to there house only to the closest post office. You must use the PO address or he or she wont recieve the paperwork they need. Just don't write PO.. Thats what I did and we had no problems.

The post office address is what i used then some one was telling me that I had to use there physical home address ( I know they ONLY use the post office so i was confused ) why cant you write PO?

I just experienced the same thing. I was advised to use the PO address on the forms because it has to match his passport information and the physical address (which was the actually directions to his home) was sent with my form as an attachment explaining that he receives his mail at the post office.

You can use his physical address, the mail is just held at the post office JA mail system don't use the acronym PO in their mailing system. You just need to make sure that the mailing address consist of:

First Name Last Name

Town, Parish, Jamaica W.I.

Now as to the Whys for JA, it is just because that is how that country mailing system is set up. Everything stops and get held at the Post office, unless it is a business address with special provisions.

Good Evening,

I want to start by congratulating on your approval. I have a quick question my fiance is also a jamaican resident and we received packet 3 abount 1 month ago. We emailed and mailed a signed copy of the D-230 form to the embassy and still havnet received a response with a interview date. I sent several inquirys within the past 2weeks and i finally got a response today that stated they recieved the form and thier system will assign me an interview soon.

Did you go through the same process.

Do you know how long that will take and what should we expect.??
