Hi again,

Well I just read the USCIS site again and it says to put pictures in envelopes, but here it says pastic bags. Does it really matter? I already put everything in plastic bags and attached them to blank pieces of paper. Also, am I supposed to use a 2 hole punch on the top of everything and bind it with ACCO fasteners (even though I have no idea what those are) or can I just use a big clip on the top? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

You want to make sure that your package does not come apart and then they can lose things.

I would definitely go to an office supply store, and ask them to show you what Acco fasteners are.

either envelope or small plastic bag is fine. As for the ACCO fasteners. Here is a pic.....

I used plastic bags for the pictures and an ACCO fastener but different people use different things. As long as you bind it together so it does not come apart.

I put all photos in one small ziplock sandwich bag. Everything else I just put in the big envelope. I didn't attach anything together. Just had it all in order.

I would assume no matter how you assemble your packet, once it arrives at the Service Center, the bored employee is going to take their time putting it together the way they want it anyway.

Just make sure you have everything on the checklist and you'll be fine.

I PUT MY PICS IN SANDWICH BAGS AS WELL AND ATTACHED TO A BLANK SHEET OF PAPER (Thanks VJ Guide!!!)... I ALSO USED PAPER CLIPS TO SEPARATE EVERYTHING BY WHAT IT IS AND THEN ACCO FASTENED IT ALL TOGETHER!!!

I put out pictures in those plastic sandwish bags and then stapled the bag to a stong divider. We also used ACCO binders and tabs on the dividers between different documents.
