I'm getting all the documentation ready to file and I saw that an IO asked for the Selective Service card in one of the threads.

I checked the Selective Service website and found my registration information, but do I need that card as well? I'm no longer under 26 so would I'm not sure if I can still request one.

Help! lol

I had an interview about 3 weeks ago and i was asked to show mine. I am currently 26. You can ago about proving this at the time of the interview by going back to the site and printing off the information/records showing when you registered/registration # you can also speak with a customer service personnel who can send one out to you. They send out mails a few times each month.. it's not a call today .. sent tomorrow kinda service . so do both.

Was easy with two women, just typed in N/A in that selective service section. Doesn't seem right to me, but this law was written when the women stayed home. Three of my stepdaughters' friends joined the NG to get college aid, were shipped down to Texas for a whole seven weeks of MP training, none of them can even open a pickle jar, than unto Iraq in a combat situation. Times have changed, the law was not, but then we have Harvard liars and idiots running this country. Stepdaughter wanted to join, talked her out of it. We will pay for her college, then if she still wants to join, can as an officer and least get paid for it.

This law was passed about 30 years ago, not one president would dare use it, a good way to get their heads chopped off, hired mercenaries instead, but don't try to explain that to the USCIS, they have their heads in the sand. Do have to fill out that selective service section and would think that should be enougjh, but never know with your IO as to whether they will want to see your card or not. This selective service thing is a farce and excuse me for telling you the way it is, but the USCIS makes a big deal out of it.

We didn't have post traumatic stress back then, when our tour ended, just gave us 6 cents per mile to go home and that was it. USCIS should have a program for PTS after dealing with them. Now that is needed.
