When will I get the packet 3 from Casa consulate?

Good morning girls

I have a good news to share with you... the NVC sent our I-129F on the 08/31/06 and DHL tracking says that the US consulate in Casa received it on the 09/04/06 :dance:

Plz, I have questions for those who went thru Casablanca :

- What is the average of days/weeks does the consulate send the packet 3 after receiving the NVC letter?? (My postal address in in Mohammedia - 30km to the North of Casablanca)

- When is the best time to call or email the consulate to get the interview date?...

5/13/09 : sent I-751 package to Vermont Center

check cashed : 5/22//09

NOA1 received : 5/26/09

Biometric Letter dated 5/29/09

Biometric Appointment: 6/25/09

touched: 6/26/09

9/30/09: got an email from USCIS. Production of the card has been ordered.

10/07/09: Got 10 years GC in mail

Hi Najia,

Congrats on having your case leave NVC. I've been told it takes 3-6 weeks but I'm not sure.. we are in week 4 now and still waiting for Said to get his packet. I contacted the senator and congressman last week cuz I didn't want to wait too long to get assistance. I'm hoping our file is not on the bottom of some pile collecting dust. Good luck!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

We went through the K-1 process so not sure if it makes a difference. On 3/4/05 our petition was sent to Casa. On 3/21/05 the consulate verified they received our petition and gave me the interview date. My then fiance received the packet 3 on 3/31/05.

8/25/05 NOAs in the mail!!! Yea!

11/25/05 - BIOMETRIC DATE

01/26/06 - AOS SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW AND HE GETS HIS FIRST JOB AT FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

02/13/06 - GREEN CARD ARRIVED

4/22/06 - Driver's License!!

11/05/2007 Filed to Lift conditions[/color]

11/07/07 - NOA1 received

12/21/07 - Biometrics completed

04/08/08 - 10 YEAR CARD APPROVED

04/14/08 - CARD IN HAND !!!!!

11/3/08 - Filed for Citizenship

02/03/09 - Citizenship Interview, HE PASSED

My case was sent processed on the 29th of Aug and I think my application is with yours at least I hope so. I noticed a few things about the shippment which makes me think that it is not to many petition in that shipment. I pray that mine is in there and please let me know if you get any word concerning your case. Casa is good for not answering questions. I have a question when they get the case do they send you a letter telling you they received it?

That is wonderful news!!! It wont be long now. Packet 3 arrived about 3 weeks after Casa received our petition. Good luck and best wishes for a smooth interview. :dance:

thank you girls for your answers.

well, when my husband called the NVC they told him that our case was sent on the 08/31/06, and when i checked the "tracking by reference" in the DHL website, i found that there is a package for Casablanca which is sent that date. so i followed it till it was delivered on the 09/04/06 !! i'm not 100% sure if it's ours, but since we have the day in which it was sent and that there aren't many packages to Casa, we assumed that it's ours !! :whistle:

Noura, I wish that you'll hear from the consulate very soon

Private, yes, may be our packets 3 & interview date will be very close!!

Good luck to whom their interviews are within weeks

Our case was received at the Consulate on 5/22 and Hicham got the packet on 6/7. I called them on 6/2 however and they gave me the date.

Our case left NVC on 8/15/06 and packet 3 arrived at my honey's door on 9/1/06. That's 17 days. Hope it helps give you a guideline and your PACKET 3 arrives quickly.
